F89 Library Mission
:
To develop lifelong readers,
encourage academic growth, and inspire creativity.

Open Hours
7:00-3:30

Located at the center of the Fruita 8-9 School, our library program provides students and teachers with the resources they need to meet their educational goals. The materials, technology, and staff are here for your school needs and reading enjoyment.

Book Check-Out
Fruita 8-9 Students may check out up to three items at a time, as long as their account is in good standing. Students have three weeks for each item, which they may renew once in person or online. Late fines are 10 cents per day. In addition, materials are available on loan from other schools in the district. Students are charged for thecost of the book, plus a $5 processing fee, for any that are lost or destroyed.

Computers
We have a set of 32 computers for class reservations, and a drop-in lab of six laptop computers. Although teachers who have reserved the library for class have priority, students are welcome to use the computers for research or other class assignments when available. Students may also use the printers in the library for their school work, as long as they are used considerately and reasonably.
